if u like her... be straight with her.. but if u feel it could ruin ur friendship as well as ur families friendships.. how bout telling her hey i like u but if thats weird i will keep it mutual.. Just try to ease her into it.. the compliment was a little awkward unfortunately.. SO try tellin her ur beautiful or hows college.. I kno ur kickin butt in classes.. an start conversations with the right compliment.. like if she has a test... try to make her daily routines a compliment to her... u really dont have to flat out tell her u like her.. u could just say somethin along the lines of..."Im glad our families are friends, because ur the greatest woman i ever met.". or "im glad to have u in my life ur an amazing smart woman'.... see compliments with a hint of i like u but friendly... but it gets the point across.. just relax and keep complimenting her.. but avoid compliments thats are comparing her to her mom.. im sure her moms a nice woman, but thats wat a guy who dont like u would say.. an im sure she likes u.. she gives u alot of her free time.. so dont be afraid to tell her she is beautiful or when she contacts u sayin "HEY BEAUTIFUL.. hows school going" or anythin along those lines.. GOODLUCK.. U sound like a great guy so continue to be that great guy... and u will do fine..
