Soft slow song that may or may not have piano in it?

I heard a song today but i could barely hear it and now it's stuck in my head. I don't know any of the words but the more i think about it, I kinda think he's saying "Just let me in, for a moment." that's the first line i think. I know this sounds totally stupid but it sounds like naa naa na naaaa nananana naa na naa na na nanananana. I know its ridiculous but its what i have stuck in my head. I know i recognize the song and the artist is similar to Lifehouse but kind of sounds like a soft version of creed. It also reminds me of Rufus Wainwright a little but i know its not him. In the song he its a couple of very short high notes. Please help, even some similar artist that would match the description would help
