REJECTING A GUY PROBLEM?

Okay, so I'm single but one of my good friends that I've madeout with like twice wants to "start talking" and he was texting me and I have NO idea what to reply. Like I don't want to be mean. Heres the conversation... From him- "Are you talking to anyone?" Me- "Naa I'm a player ;)" Him- "Well wanna retire and start?(:" .... I don't want to start talking to him but I really don't want to be mean WHAT SHOULD I SAY BACK??
