Good defence gun naa cap and ball revolver companion if it not stored 4 long time also?

i no bp is not good to keep 4 long time louded but if fresh will it do the job i guess it wood be like a 22lr i no 22 is not the best 4 defence but they make them they must be something or does anyone no about them and if so do you no if and how 2 get more power from it i was thinking and hear take head of 22lr and was little powder can someone till me how it can not take the smokeless powder charge when they make 22lr smaller and with same metel and how a 44cal navy colt cant take the charge of smokeless that gun is strong and the colt 44cal 1851 have a good punch 4 defence like a 9mm or 380....38 what you think but some1 down and wil the naa c&b put a man down
