You need to come out and tell him that you do like him. He said don't know because of your answer, you said maybe after saying you really didn't like him that way. That confuses a man. A man has a smaller brain. lol. They need to have a straight foward answer, a yes, or a no, and by you say no, then maybe, he assumes it's a no, so he said don't know because he doesn't want to tell you, if you didn't tell him how you felt. Come out and tell him that you do really like him, and then ask him how he feels..I think he likes you, usually guys wouldn't mess around by saying maybe or don't know, unless it was a yes... To bring the conversation up again, just say something like hey, what did you mean by don't know? And go from there.. good luck!
